The Gaza Envelope in Words

A Cultural Journey of Memory and Hope

During the storm that struck Israel on October 7th, the residents of the Gaza envelope stood at the forefront of the battle. Today, a year later, we invite you to join an emotional, cultural journey through the eyes of artists, writers, and creators from the region.
“The Envelope in Words” is a unique project by the Tnu’at Tarbut (Culture Movement), bringing forth the authentic voices of Southern residents. Through poetry, prose, and art we will uncover stories of heroism, pain, and hope born from the trauma.

The activity includes:
• Moving readings by local creators
• In-depth discussions on the meaning of creation during times of crisis
• Creative activities to cope with trauma through art

Join us on this inspiring journey, emphasizing the power of culture in building bridges, healing, and strengthening the community. Together, we will discover how words can transform pain into hope and illuminate the path forward.
