Edut 710 (Testimony October 7th)

The Edut (Testimony) 710 initiative was born immediately after the events of October 7th in Israel, by leading volunteers from the fields of documentary filmmaking, historical research, and mental health. Its aim is to create a filmed testimony archive of survivors of the October 7th events. Recognizing the historical importance of documenting and preserving these voices, the organization is dedicated to building an archive that will be preserved for generations and serve as the national testimony archive of October 7th. Edut 710 is the largest documentation organization in Israel and is committed to documenting the stories of the survivors of October 7th with the highest professional and ethical standards.
We will tell the many stories of heroism by the survivors and learn about the civilian mobilization on the home front in the days surrounding the event that changed everything. Alongside the horrific stories, we will cling to moments of light, bravery, humanity, empathy, and Israeli solidarity during those difficult days. We wish to remember these moments among ourselves here and share them with everyone, to remember that even in the darkest times, there were sparks of hope, from which we aspire to grow toward the future.
